The chestnuts are so spiky one can not handle them. Mine look just the same now they are edible ones. The photo is great. Thanks Luiz for your dedication.
As a child I would climb the chestnut trees and pick those prickly things to find the chestnut hidden inside! I am in Canada could these be the same chestnut trees we have here?

I used to enjoy playing with these fruits when I was a kid. I'd invent all kinds of games with them.
